Actor Nicolas Cage is expecting his third child, his first with his new wife Riko Shibata. A rep for the couple confirmed the news exclusively with People Magazine and shared that “the parents-to-be are elated!”
This new little one will be the Willy’s Wonderland star’s first time welcoming a newborn in over fifteen years. The actor shares two children from previous relationships: son Kal-El, 16, whom he shares with ex-wife Alice Kim, and son Weston, 31, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton.
Nicolas is also a grandfather! His son Weston and his wife Hila welcomed identical twin daughters in 2020, Cypress and Venice.
Nicolas and Riko, who is also in the acting business, met through mutual friends in Shiga, Japan while he was filming Prisoners of the Ghostland. The actor tied the knot with his fifth wife last year on February 16th, a date he chose to honor his late father’s birthday. The couple exchanged vows at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas in a very small and intimate wedding.
