Broadway stars Kyle Dean Massey and Taylor Frey have announced that they are expecting their first child together! The actors are pregnant with their first child via surrogate. They’re thrilled to be pursuing their dreams of becoming fathers!
The couple shot photos with People magazine in matching Dad sweaters from the brand Ron Dorff Paris-Stockholm. They looked very chic in their announcement post! Both Kyle and Taylor shared touching messages on their Instagram posts.
Kyle wrote: “We’re pregnant!!! We are excited beyond measure to make this announcement. We couldn’t have done this without the incredible team of people who gave us so much to make this dream a reality: our physicians, attorneys and most especially our fabulous egg donor and amazing surrogate.” Taylor shared: “To say we are excited and overwhelmed with gratitude for generous women who are willing to help us become fathers is an understatement. I can’t wait to meet you Rafa.”
A pregnancy wasn’t the only news the couple shared, though. They also announced that their little one is a baby girl! Taylor may have slyly shared his daughter’s name in his post: Rafa. While he may have used it as a term of endearment, it could be the name they’ve chosen for her. Rafa is a Hebrew name that means “well-being or prosperity.”
The Nashville alum tied the knot with Taylor in October of 2016 in Palm Springs, California. They became wed beneath a stunning sunset ceremony at a private residence. The garden location was surrounded by rosemary bushes and citrus trees, and the ceremony took place in front of a fountain in the garden, decorated with floating candles and rose petals.
Congratulations to Kyle and Taylor on growing their family! We join them in their excitement to become parents.
