Ashley Iaconetti of Bachelor fame has announced that she and her husband, fellow Bachelor contestant Jared Haibon, are expecting their first child together! The Bachelor in Paradise stars shared the news on an Amazon Live video after first teasing the news on Instagram.

During the live stream, the couple answered questions from fans and revealed details about their news. Ashley is 10 weeks along in her pregnancy and is set to give birth in February of 2022. The couple is planning to find out the sex of their baby. They also revealed that they have a boy’s name picked out but are still brainstorming for a girl. Ashley shared that she has been experiencing morning sickness 24/7. “It’s been a hard time, guys,” she shared during the live. Jared chimed in by sharing, “It’s weird to say we’re gonna be parents. When does it sink in?”

In February of 2019, before the couple tied the knot, they shared with US Weekly that they wanted to have their first child in 2020 or 2021 and that they would like to have two or three children.

Over the last few months, the couple has been open about trying to conceive. In February during Jared’s appearance on the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast, he shared that he and Ashley were actively trying to conceive and had been trying for three months at that time. “We’re actually in the ‘trying’ phase. We’re gonna try and let the chips fall where they may. Because, you know, we’ve been told it could — who knows how long it could take.”

The reality stars became engaged in June of 2018 during the filming of season five of Bachelor in Paradise. They tied the knot in August 2019 in a romantic ceremony at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.

Congratulations to Ashley and Jared on growing their family! We wish them all the best as they prepare to welcome their first child.
