DJ and record producer Calvin Harris is going to be a dad! The Grammy-winner and his wife Vick Hope are expecting their first baby together. The TV and radio presenter confirmed the couple’s news on her Instagram.
Rumors that the couple were expecting a baby started earlier this week following the release of a BBC Radio 1 interview of Vick and actress Florence Pugh. A video of the interview showed the presenter wearing a cream-colored bodycon dress and she gently stroked her stomach. Vick confirmed she and the musician were expecting, with an Instagram post that featured a series of images from her recent interviews and speaking engagements where she had a growing baby bump. She didn’t share when the couple’s baby is expected to arrive.
Calvin, whose real name is Adam Richard Wiles, tied the knot with Vick in September 2023. The couple enjoyed a lavish wedding weekend in Northeast England on the grounds of Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland. Their ceremony took place outdoors while their reception was held in a tent. The “This Is What You Came For” producer, who formerly dated singer Taylor Swift, asked Vick to marry him in May 2022 at the Chelsea Flower Show in London. Before their nuptials, Vick expressed that the couple was keeping details of their wedding under wraps. After being asked if the two had set a date, the presenter answered, “You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it, but I’m keeping my private life private. I’ve never really experienced this before about my private life, but it’s just for us.”
Congratulations to Calvin and Vick on the news of their first baby! We wish them all the best as they await the birth of their little one.
