Athletes Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee have added another bundle of joy to their family! The tennis star and basketball player announced the arrival of their third baby together. “Our family couldnt be happier!”
The Olympian shared a picture of her three children to share her family’s news. The couple, who announced they were expecting a baby in April, welcomed a baby boy on July 26th. They chose to name him Max Wozniacki Lee. Caroline shared an update on the family in her caption writing, “Mom and baby are healthy and our family couldnt be happier!”
Max joins the athletic family with two siblings. The tennis player and former New York Knicks player welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Olivia, in June 2021. The couple’s second baby, a boy named James, was born in October 2022. When announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Caroline used a cheeky sport’s reference to share the news, writing at the time, “Officially switching to zone defense! Our family couldn’t be more excited to welcome baby #3 soon!”
The athletes tied the knot in June 2019 and, six months later, the tennis star announced she would temporarily retire from the sport to start a family and care for her rheumatoid arthritis. At the time, she shared, “I’ve realized that there is a lot more in life that I’d like to accomplish off the court.” A few months after welcoming James, she stepped back onto the court in June 2023, sharing that she “still had goals” to pursue in her athletic career. She also expressed that the choice was led by her desire to teach her children an important life lesson. “I want to show my kids that you can pursue your dreams no matter your age or role.”
