Country music singer and songwriter Chris Lane has announced that he and his wife, Lauren Bushnell Lane of The Bachelor fame, are expecting their first child together!
Chris and Lauren each shared a video of an ultrasound of their little baby appropriately set to Chris’s song “Big, Big Plan.” Chris captioned his video, “Prayer works! Hope you look like your Mama.” Lauren shared to her post, “A dream. Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake. Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly. Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby. Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You.”
News of Chris and Lauren’s relationship broke in November of 2018. Prior to that, the couple had been good friends. In June of 2019 at the CMT Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, the couple gushed over one another. Chris shared at the time, “Not only is she beautiful on the inside, but she’s beautiful on the outside, and absolutely the funniest person I’ve ever met, and I love that. She’s great to be around.” Lauren added, “I will always love you because you make me laugh. It’s true. Always making me laugh,” Bushnell added of Lane. “I think that’s the No. 1 thing for me. You gotta be able to laugh together.”
They became engaged later that month after dating for less than a year. He proposed in the backyard of Bushnell’s family’s Oregon home to his song, “Big, Big Plans.” Seems this song will is very monumental for the couple! They tied the knot in a garden ceremony in Nashville in October 2019.
