In February, conservative journalist Ashley St. Clair claimed to have welcomed tech billionaire Elon Musk’s 13th baby. Since the revelation, little has been known about their alleged child. Today, more details were revealed about the baby – including their name – and the CEO’s paternity has been confirmed.
Since Ashley’s announcement, the little one has been referred to as R.S.C. and, in a report from the Wall Street Journal, the baby’s name was official shared: Romulus. Ashley has also claimed that Elon hadn’t claimed Romulus as his child, but the WSJ report included results fronm a paternity test case. A report from Labcorp shared that the Tesla CEO’s “Probability of Paternity” was 99.9999%. Romulus was born in September 2024.

News of Romulus’s birth came just a few weeks before the SpaceX founder and Neuralink director Shivon Zilis announced the birth of their fourth baby together. Shivon took to Instagram to share that she gave birth to Elon’s 14th baby, a son named Seldon Lycurgus. Elon and Shivon also share a daughter named Arcadia and twins Strider and Azure.
Ashley has been open about Elon’s lack of support since announcing the birth of Romulus, and she’s not the only mother of Elon’s babies to speak out. Singer Grimes, who shares son X Æ A-12, 4, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and son Techno Mechanicus, who goes by Tau, 2, with Elon, called out the billionaire for ignoring a “medical crisis” involving one of their children. The singer wrote in a since-deleted X post, “Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”

In addition to his children with Ashley, Shivon, and Grimes, Elon has five older children with his ex-wife, author Justine Wilson. The former couple’s first baby, son Nevada, passed away from SIDS at five months old and they share twins Griffin and Vivian and triplets named Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
