Reality stars Heidi Montag Pratt and Spencer Pratt are growing their family! The couple, who met while starring in the reality series The Hills, are expecting their second child together.
Heidi has been open about wanting to grow her family with Spencer. The Hills: New Beginnings stars, who have been married since 2008, welcomed their first child together in October of 2017, a son named Gunner Stone. Last August, the reality star revealed that she had undergone a hysteroscopic polypectomy procedure. The procedure removes non-cancerous uterine polyps. Heidi was hopeful “that the surgery works and that this is the only reason I haven’t been able to get pregnant. Hopefully, after this, I can get pregnant right away.”
The couple’s pregnancy news comes just a few months after Heidi was spotted eating a raw bison heart, which was supposedly part of a new diet trend to help her and Spencer conceive. At the time, she shared her thoughts on her new diet with People. “I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and a half, I’m willing to try different things. It’s a great source of nutrients! I have felt incredible on this diet. A lot more energy, clarity, increased libido, and overall improvement on chronic pain I have had.”
In January, Heidi shared a candid post alongside images of her and her firstborn about her challenges conceiving. “So thankful for my angel. I never thought it would be so hard trying to have another. I am trusting God’s plan and if we only have one I am so thankful for this miracle!”
