Rachel McAdams’ iconic breast pump photo has gotten a relatable twist, via actress Hilary Duff.
Rachel’s image landed on Instagram in December, showing the actress wearing Versace and diamonds while using a breast pump.
Hilary put a new spin on the image, pumping while wearing a shower cap and a button-down shirt, with a jacket draped over her shoulders.
She posted the photo alongside Rachel’s for a side-by-side comparison, captioning it: “Am I doing this right?”
Claire Rothstein, the photographer who did the Rachel McAdam’s photo shoot for Girls Girls Girls magazine, noted when she posted the image: “Breastfeeding is the most normal thing in the world and I can’t for the life of me imagine why or how it is ever frowned upon or scared of… I don’t even think it needs explaining but just wanted to put this out there, as if it even changes one person’s perception of something so natural, so normal, so amazing then that’s great.”
Hilary and boyfriend Matthew Koma welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Banks Violet, in October. Hilary has a 6-year-old son, Luca Cruz, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
