Reality star Jana Duggar is going to be a mom! The 19 Kids and Counting star announced that she and her husband Stephen Wissmann are expecting their first baby together. The news comes one year after the couple tied the knot.

The couple shared a joint announcement post on Instagram with images of the two outdoors, with Jana wearing a dress that hugged her growing baby bump. The Counting On star penned a touching caption that also revealed her baby’s due date. “We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”

The couple’s baby news comes on the heels of the two getting married last year. The two first met when they were teenagers and dated briefly in the early 2020s before going their separate ways, though the two remained friendly. They reconnected in early 2024 and started dating privately. In June 2024, the couple announced their engagement and they went on to tie the knot that August. The couple said their vows in a large ceremony with 500 people in attendance near Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

On her and Stephen reconnecting, the oldest Duggar daughter has shared, “It was like, ‘What are we doing? We still enjoy each other. We still really appreciate each other.'” She also referenced her relationship timeline, finding love far later than her siblings. “I had been a slower mover on it, but just over time, his character, his coming back, still loving me no matter what. I know we have a big crazy family and still kind of putting up with a lot of things. I’m like, my goodness, there are not too many people that do that. He must really, genuinely care about me.”

Congratulations to Jana and Stephen on the news of their first baby!
