Singer-songwriter Jason Derulo announced in March that his girlfriend, model Jena Frumes, was pregnant with the couple’s first child. Their little one has arrived! The couple shared posts to Instagram to reveal their child entered the world earlier this month.
A few days after sharing they were expecting, the couple revealed the gender of their first child: a boy! The couple played around on their social media pages with names they might choose but didn’t reveal their final choice – until now! Jason and Jena have named their son Jason King Derulo.
While Jason shared a video of the reveal that showed him and Jena heading to the hospital along with some clips of Jason with his newborn. He captioned his video, “The happiest day of my life bringing our baby boy (Jason King Derulo) home. He’s so lucky to have such a strong caring hero of a mother.”
For her announcement, Jena shared images from the hospital and in the days home with her baby. The couple has chosen not to share their newborn’s face online. All the images Jena shared either didn’t show baby Jason’s face or it was covered. To caption her post, Jena reflected on these first weeks of motherhood. “Life now has so much more meaning & I am so grateful. I’m so so so in love with this little boy he’s everything I never knew I needed.”
The “Savage Love” singer met Jenna at the gym Equinox in 2020 shortly before the coronavirus pandemic sent everyone into lockdown. They began dating soon after that. Congratulations to Jason and Jena on the birth of their son! We wish them all the best during this exciting time together.
