Jessa Duggar Reveals Baby Name Choice for 6th Baby with Husband Ben Seewald
Last week, reality star Jessa Duggar announced the birth of her 6th baby with her husband Ben Seewald. The Counting On star gave birth on August 2nd but didn’t share any details about her little one. Now, Jessa has revealed her newborn’s baby name and sex.
In a YouTube video posted to her family channel, the 19 Kids and Counting star posted a video taking their baby home from the hospital. They shared that they welcomed a baby boy! However, the couple hadn’t chosen a name yet when they left the hospital, and the reality star shared they had “six days” to let them know their baby’s name. She said that they would “try out one of the top three names” to decide which one was best suited for their little one.
The three names the couple was considering were: Owen, Calvin, or Edward. At the end of the video, the couple sat down and Ben shared, “We finally made up our mind,” on their baby’s name. They chose to name their 6th baby Edward Owen Seewald. Jessa revealed that her kids were “rooting for Edward.”
The video also showed meeting his new siblings. Jessa and Ben, who tied the knot in November 2014, share three sons named Spurgeon Elliot, Henry Wilberforce, and George Augustine, as well as two daughters named Ivy Jane and Fern Elliana. Of watching her children meet their new baby brother, the reality star gushed, “One of the most endearing parts of bringing a new baby into our family is watching the love that the big siblings have for their little one.”
