Reality star Jessa Duggar has grown her family! The 19 Kids and Counting star announced the birth of her sixth baby with her husband Ben Seewald. Jessa shared her family’s news on her YouTube channel.
In a (so far) two-part video, Jessa documented her journey of going to the hospital to welcome her little one. Her first video showed the reality star walking around her parents’ Arkansas home while she was having contractions. In the second video, she revealed her baby’s birth, sharing that her little one was born on August 2nd. Her labor only lasted “7.5 hours” and her mom, Michelle Duggar, was by her side during the birth.
While describing the arrival of her newborn, the Counting On star shared, “When baby was born and everything was OK, I just sobbed like a baby. I just cried. We both cried. The baby’s crying, I’m crying. It was such a beautiful moment and we’re so thankful.” Jessa didn’t reveal any further details about her little one, including her baby’s name and sex.
Jessa and her husband announced in March that they were adding another baby to their family. The couple, who tied the knot in November 2014, welcomed their first baby, a boy named Spurgeon Elliot, in 2015. They also share two other sons: Henry Wilberforce, born in 2017, and their youngest child George Augustine, born in 2023. They also have two daughters named Ivy Jane, born in 2019, and Fern Elliana, born in 2021. Jessa also opened up about suffering a miscarriage prior to getting pregnant with George.
