Actress Kirsten Dunst has announced that she is expecting her second child with her partner Jesse Plemons! The Bring It On star revealed the news on the cover of W Magazine. Kirsten was featured in the publication alongside Rashida Jones and Elle Fanning for the magazine’s Director’s Issue, which was directed by Sofia Coppola.
The photoshoot was not the first time Kirsten had the pleasure of working with Sofia. The two collaborated on films like The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette, and The Beguiled. Kirsten spoke with the magazine on her relationship with the filmmaker, “It’s just so beautiful to have that kind of friendship where you’ve seen each other have children. There are few collaborations, to be honest, where it lasts, where someone knows you that long that’s not your family.”
This bundle of joy will be Kirsten’s second child with Jesse. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Ennis Howard, in 2018. Kirsten and Jesse, who are rather private about their relationship, met in 2015 on the set of Fargo, where the actors portrayed a married couple. The couple connected over their shared experiences as child actors.
However, Kirsten was dating Garrett Hedlund at the time. She and Jesse didn’t become a couple until 2016 after the filming of their season wrapped. The couple was spotted kissing a few months after Kirsten and Garrett broke up. Kirsten and Jesse then became engaged in January of 2017.
