Last year, comedian Kristen Wiig welcome twins via surrogate with her husband Avi Rothman. Months later, the actress finally revealed her twins name in a very subtle way!

Kristen’s new movie, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, premiered last Friday, February 12th. In the Special Thanks section of the credits, Kristen thanked her husband Avi and added the names of her twins: Luna and Shiloh. What a sweet way to announce this news!

The name Luna is an Italian name that means “The Moon” while Shiloh is a Hebrew name that means “His Gift.”

News that Kristen welcomed twins via surrogate came out last June, just one month after the comedian eluded to the fact that she had become a mother on Saturday Night Live. “This is the Mother’s Day show, and at SNL, it’s a very special time to celebrate moms. Unfortunately, probably like a lot of you, I can’t be with my mom on this Mother’s Day. So, I hope it’s OK, I would like to tell her I love her. I don’t know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I’m feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I’m so thankful for all the things she’s taught me, like preparing me to be a mom myself.”

A few months later in August, the Bridesmaids star reflected on her IVF experience. “As private as I am and as sacred as this all is, what helped me was reading about other women who went through it and talking to those who have gone through IVF and fertility stuff. It can be the most isolating experience. But I’m trying to find that space where I can keep my privacy and also be there for someone else who may be going through it.”

Congratulations again to Kristen and Avi on the birth of their twins! We’re elated to learn their names and wish the new parents all the best.
