Last month, reality stars Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. announced they were expecting their fourth baby together. The announcement followed Arie’s news about reversing his vasectomy. Now, the couple has revealed the sex of their upcoming newborn.
In a joint video, the couple, surrounded by their three kids, held black balloons. They each popped a balloon to release confetti in the color of their baby’s sex. The pink confetti announced: it’s a girl! The video then cut to their three children sitting by a cake and dipping glasses into it to reveal pink cake. Following the video announcement, Lauren posted pictures from their gender reveal photoshoot and gushed in the caption, “we can’t wait to meet you baby GIRL☺️.”
Before posting their announcement, the couple shared a gender prediction video where they filmed friends and family sharing what they thought their baby would be. Most people ended up guessing a boy. The video started with the couple’s three children: Alessi, 5, and twins Lux and Sienna, 3. The twins correctly guessed a girl while Alessi predicted a boy. The couple, who met on season 22 of The Bachelor, will welcome their third daughter in September.
The reality stars tied the knot in January 2019 in Hawaii. Later that year in May, Lauren gave birth to Alessi. In June 2022, the couple welcomed their twins: son Lux and daughter Sienna. Six months after their twin’s birth, the former race car driver got a vasectomy. When discussing how he reversed the procedure, he said he thought he “rushed it. I think having the twins was hard at first.” After a while, he realized “Dang it, I think we could do this again” and decided to reverse his vasectomy.
Congratulations to Lauren and Arie on the news of their baby girl!
