Dancing with the Stars professional Lindsay Arnold welcomed her first child with her husband Samuel Cusick earlier this week. She kept the details of her little one under wraps at first, but she has finally revealed her newborn daughter’s name!
While Lindsay had shared some images with her daughter, the newborn’s face was covered. For this post, Lindsay shared a shot of her daughter’s face and revealed her name: Sage Jill Cusick. How sweet! Lindsay also revealed that Sage was born 8 days early on November 2nd, 2020 at 6:07 am. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz at birth and was 19 inches long.
The date of Sage’s birth and the meaning of her middle name hold significant meaning for the couple. “She entered this world on the same day that we lost Sams’s beautiful mother just one year ago and we couldn’t help but see God’s hand in this and know that Sage was handed down to us by her beautiful angel grandmother, Jennifer Jill Gillette Cusick.”
Lindsay, who had hinted in her previous posts that she had a c-section, shared her birth story in her post. “I woke up to my water breaking around 3:30 am at home in bed and contractions started immediately after. Sam and I grabbed everything and headed straight to the hospital. Baby girl was still breech and I was progressing very fast so we prepped right away for C-section delivery. I am so grateful for the incredible team of nurses and doctors who delivered our baby girl to us safe and sound. We could not be more in love with her and feel blessed beyond words to be her parents.”
