Reality star Mackenzie McKee is a twin mom! The Teen Mom star and her partner Khesanio Hall welcomed twins, their first babies together. The couple also revealed their baby’s name and the inspiration behind the name choices.
Throughout the day leading up to her birth announcement, the reality star shared images throughout each trimester of her pregnancy before sharing a post of her and Khesanio in the hospital with their newborns. The couple welcomed twin girls, whose sex they revealed last month, on June 2nd. Mackenzie and Khesanio named their daughters Ja’Kharie Angie Hall and Ja’Meikah Angella Hall. “Mom and Dad are over the moon and so happy,” Mackenzie wrote in the caption, “the cries we cried when we heard those first cries. We are so in love.”
In her announcement post, the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star shared that her twin’s middle names have special meaning. “Both named after our moms, the most beautiful ladies who mean everything to us.” In an Instagram Live in April, Mackenzie hinted at her daughter’s name, sharing that they were choosing to continue a tradition with Khesanio’s family. “”The babies will have three-syllable ‘J’ names. Khesanio and I both have three-syllable names. So I wanted three syllables. And all of his mother’s grandbabies have names that start with a J!”
While these twins are the first babies the couple has together, Mackenzie shares three children with her ex Josh McKee. The former couple shared two sons named Gannon and Broncs, and a daughter named Jaxie. Mackenzie and Khesanio started dating in 2022, and he asked her to marry him last year. The couple went through IVF to conceive their twins because Mackenzie had a tubal ligation after welcoming her son Broncs. Their IVF journey has been documented on the MTV reality series.
Congratulations to Mackenzie and Khesanio on the birth of their twins daughters!
