Actress Nell Hudson had officially entered motherhood! The Outlander star took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first baby with her new husband Maximillian King. Nell also revealed her baby’s sex.

To announce her baby news, Nell shared two images to her Instagram page: the first showed the hospital bed the actress gave birth in and the second was a close-up of her newborn baby’s hand. The “Just For Today” author revealed that she welcomed a baby girl, but didn’t reveal her daughter’s name. The new mom reflected on motherhood in her post writing, “I can’t believe everyone ever was given birth to by a woman and we all just go around like it’s normal. MOTHERS – I am in awe of all of you.” She went on to explain how motherhood has personally changed her. “I am broken in two in the best possible way. Need a new word for love.”

The Doll Factory star announced in March that she was pregnant in an Instagram post. She shared a picture of herself wearing a a cropped white tank top and light-colored jeans, that were unbuttoned, to show off her growing baby bump. She captioned the post, “hello it’s been a while, very happy to share some big news! I’m pregnant.”

The actress’s pregnancy news came one year after she revealed she was engaged to Maximillian, a producer. The couple started dating in 2021. He proposed to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre star while the two were visiting Paris in 2024. Last month, the couple announced they got married, with the actress sharing pictures from their wedding ceremony. She wore a white ruffled dress that accentuated her baby bump.
