Earlier this year, actor Penn Badgley and his wife Domino Kirke announced that they were growing their family by two. The couple is currently expecting twins! The Gossip Girl alum has now revealed the sex of his twins.
While walking the red carpet for the premiere of the final season of his Netflix show You, the actor shared his baby’s sex: they’re boys! “They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys.” Domino had previously shared that the couple’s twins were identical. In the couple’s announcement post, the singer called her twins “monoditwins,” which refers to monochorionic diamiotic twins. This means they are identical and share a placenta but have their own inner sac.
As the actor shared when announcing the sex of his twins, these boys will add to the families other sons. Penn and Domino share a son named James, who was born in August 2020, and Domino has a son named Cassius from a previous relationship. On having two new boys in his family, the John Tucker Must Die star shared, “You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well.”
During the red carpet interview, the actor shared what his “dad superpower” is to which he replied, “Well, it’s my patience until I’ve lost it, and then I’m just as bad as anybody else. But, I can be very patient.” The couple’s twins are expected to make their arrival this summer.
