Reality stars Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk have revealed the gender of their first child together. The couple, who met and fell in love on season four of Bachelor in Paradise, announced in July that they were expecting a baby. Their little one is set to make their arrival in January of 2022.
The couple shared a fall-themed picture to announce the news. They sat together in front of their home surrounded by pumpkins. One pumpkin was strategically placed in front of Raven and was carved with the shape of a heart. Inside the pumpkin was a smaller pumpkin painted blue. It’s a boy!
“OH BOY!!! Can’t wait to meet our little pumpkin,” Raven wrote in her caption. According to one of the hashtags she used, the Bachelor star is 24 weeks along in her pregnancy. Adam shared the same images on his Instagram page with the caption, “BOY Dad mode activated.”
When announcing the news of their first child, who’s due date is January 26th, Raven was “OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO SHARE THE NEWS!”, so wrote at the time. The couple also referred to their little one as their “Honeymoon baby.”
The couple became engaged in June of 2019 but their original wedding plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their wedding date was changed three times in total trying to plan the occasion around the pandemic. “”Replanning was exhausting,” Raven has admitted. “But we kept our spirits up. And at the end of the day, it’s just about us and our marriage. And if Adam and I can get through this, we can get through a lot!”
Ultimately, the couple ended up marrying in April of this year. They tied the knot in Dallas, TX, where they couple reside, at The Olana, a majestic estate just outside the city. The wedding was an intimate occasion with 20 family members and close friends in attendance. Raven and Adam took all the necessary precautions to by ensuring all the guests were tested for COVID the day before to keep everyone was safe.
