Richard Gere has welcomed his third child, his second with his wife Alejandra. Their new arrival comes just 14-months after the couple welcomed their first child together, a boy named Alexander.
News of the couple’s pregnancy was released in November of last year when sources close to the couple confirmed the news, just nine months after they welcomed Alexander in February.
Both Richard and Alejandra have children from previous marriages. Richard has a 20-year-old son named Homer with his ex-wife Carey Lowell. Alejandra has a 6-year-old son named Albert with her ex-husband Govind Friedland.
Richard and Alejandra began dating in 2014, but they’ve known each other for over a decade, both being active in humanitarian work. News of their marriage was shared in April of 2018. They had wed weeks prior in a private civil ceremony. In May, they wed again surrounded by family and friends.
The name of their newborn has not yet been revealed, but sources say the couple have welcomed a baby boy. Richard doesn’t have a presence on social media, but Alejandra does have an Instagram account. She is not very active, her last post taking place around Christmas time last year.
