Sadie Robertson is a mother of three! The Duck Dynasty star and her husband Christian Huff announced the birth of their third baby together. The news came shortly after the couple’s gender reveal aired on the latest episode of Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
The author took to Instagram after the sex of her and Christian’s baby was revealed on TV. “BABY #3 IS A GIRL!!!! We are soooooo excited to keep the girl gang growing- we love being girl parents and love her so much already.” Following that post, Sadie shared that her daughter had arrived! “and while we are having a reveal party…” The “Live Original” author shared pictures of her newborn and her family at the hospital. The couple’s daughter was born on August 1st and they chose to name her Kit Carroway Huff. The name Carroway is a family name on Sadie’s side, which is her paternal grandmother’s maiden name.
In addition to baby Kit, the couple, who announced they were expecting their third baby in February, share two daughters. They welcomed their first baby, a girl named Honey James, in May 2021. Two years later in May 2023, the reality star gave birth to the couple’s daughter Haven Belle. Unlike with her first two children, Sadie didn’t reveal her baby’s name ahead of her birth. Previously, she had shared her first two daughter’s names and the meaning behind her choices before they were born. The couple also didn’t continue the naming pattern they had for their first two girls: monikers starting with the letter H.
Sadie started dating her “Whoa That’s Good” podcast co-host during the summer of 2018, and the couple got engaged the following June. They enjoyed a short engagement and tied the knot in November 2019 at her family’s farm in Louisiana. Last month, the author gushed about her husband, calling him her best friend and sharing the importance of friendship in marriage. “People always tell you to marry your best friend, and I have to say it’s some of the best advice! I genuinely am married to my best friend!”
