Reality star Sammi Giancola is a mom! The Jersey Shore alum, known by her nickname Sammi Sweetheart, announced the birth of her first baby with her partner Justin May. “Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby.”
Sammi shared a series of images of her family to announce her newborn’s arrival. The reality star gave birth to a baby boy, whose sex she revealed in May, on August 20th. The couple chose to name their son Vincent Keith May. On how she was feeling about welcoming her first baby, Sammi gushed, “Ok I can’t stop crying happy tears. Thank you God.”
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star has been open about her journey to conceive. In an episode of her reality show last November, she shared that she had gone through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) but had sadly suffered a miscarriage. When announcing her pregnancy in February, she shed light on her journey again writing, “After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for!” When sharing about the birth of Vincent, she reflected on her infertility writing, “After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice.”
The Sweetheart Cost boutique owner started dating Justin in August 2021 but didn’t reveal they were in a relationship around Thanksgiving that year. In April 2024, the couple announced they got engaged in March. At the time, Sammi wrote, “The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world I’ll love you forever, and then some. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
