Actress Sarah Snook, most notably known for portraying the role of Siobhan “Shiv” Roy on the HBO Max series Succession, is going to become a mother! The actress and her husband, comedian and actor Dave Lawson, are expecting their first child together. “It’s exciting! I feel great.”

Sarah announced the news on the red carpet during the premiere of Succession‘s fourth and final season. The Pieces of a Woman star showed off her growing baby bump in a black form-fitted jumpsuit. She paired the look with a silver, floor-length cover-up and matching diamond necklace. Sarah revealed that she is 32 weeks along in her pregnancy and that she had even been pregnant while filming the end of the season. “I mean, you couldn’t super tell,” she shared, revealing that her baby bump wasn’t “super big” yet. While this little one will be Sarah’s first child, Dave has another child from a previous relationship.

Before Sarah and Dave began dating in 2020, they had maintained a years-long friendship. In October 2021, the actress told Vogue Australia, “We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic. We’ve just never been single at the same time.”

The COVID-19 pandemic changed things for the couple. While they were quarantining together, they fell in love and Dave asked Sarah to marry him a few months into their romantic relationship, on Halloween 2020. The couple tied the knot in February 2021 in an intimate backyard wedding ceremony in Brooklyn.

Congratulations to Sarah and Dave on the news of their first child! We wish them lots of love as they prepare to welcome their little one in a few months.
