Actress Emma Stone welcomed her first child with her husband, Saturday Night Live segment director Dave McCary earlier this year. At the time of their child’s birth, very few details were revealed. The couple is not active on their social media channels. Now, the name of their daughter has been discovered!
The meaning behind the name they chose is very sweet! Baby Louise shares the middle name of Jean with her mother Emma and her grandmother Krista. Louise also shares a name with her maternal great-grandmother, Emma’s grandmother, whose name was Jean Louise.
The Cruella star and her husband are notoriously private about their personal life. The couple did not share any of their pregnancy news on their own, rather sources close to them revealed all details regarding the pregnancy and birth. Emma met Dave at the end of 2016 while the actress was hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live. They collaborated on a taped sketch directed by Dave titled “Wells for Boys.” It wasn’t until October of 2017 that the couple confirmed they were in a relationship. Two years later in December of 2019, the couple announced they were engaged. They tied the knot in September of 2020.
Congratulations again to Emma and Dave on welcoming Louise into the world! We hope they are thoroughly enjoying being parents.
