Country music star Thomas Rhett has welcomed his fourth child! Thomas and his wife Lauren announced the arrival of their fourth daughter late last night. She was born earlier this week on November 15th.

For their fourth daughter, the couple has chosen the name Lillie Carolina Akins. “7.5 pounds of pure joy,” Thomas wrote in his caption before reflecting on his new life with four children. “@laur_akins you are my hero. Watching a child being born is legit a miracle. 4 under 6 here we go!”

Lauren announced the news on her page by sharing an image of her kissing her newborn daughter. “Our family couldn’t be more over the moon about our littlest joy,” she wrote in her caption. She also shared song lyrics that were the inspiration behind Lillie’s name. “‘If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor / How much more will He clothe you? / If He watched over every sparrow / How much more does He love you?’ lyrics from ‘Jireh’ by @elevationworship and @maverickcitymusic inspired by scriptures in Matthew 6 & Luke 12. Just love hearing her name as the sweetest reminder of how much God cares for us.”

Lillie joins the Akins family with three older sisters! The “What’s Your Country Song” singer and his wife adopted their first child named Willa Gray from Uganda in 2017 after a lengthy adoption process. During the process, the couple learned they were pregnant! They welcomed their second child, daughter Ada James, in August 2017. In February of 2020, they welcomed their third daughter, Lennon Love.

When announcing their pregnancy in May, Thomas wrote that he and Lauren “always wanted a big thanksgiving table.” It looks like they’re getting their wish!

Congratulations to Thomas and Lauren on the arrival of baby Lillie! We wish them all the best as they transition to life as a family of six.
