Singer-songwriter Tyler Joseph, frontman for the band Twenty One Pilots, made a special announcement during his duo’s performance at the VMAs last night. His wife Jenna is pregnant with the couple’s second child!
From the stage, the 32-year-old singer shared with the audience, “My wife is pregnant! With our second child. I didn’t want to text everybody. So I thought I’d let you know right now. Now you know!” The “Saturday” signer didn’t reveal when his newborn is expected to arrive. Neither Tyler nor Jenna has shared the news on their Instagram pages yet.
This isn’t the first time Tyler has revealed baby news during a performance. During Twenty One Pilots’ Lollapalooza Berlin performance in September 2019, he revealed that Jenna was pregnant with their first child. They welcomed a daughter named Rosie Robert, who they affectionately call Ro, in February 2020. Rosie shared her middle name of Robert with Tyler.
Tyler and Jenna began dating in January of 2013. The “Shy Away” singer popped the question in Paris the next year in July of 2014. The couple tied the knot in March 2015 in an elegant barn wedding at the IronGate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio. On their five-year wedding anniversary, Jenna wrote on Instagram, “we kissed at least 100 times on our wedding day and every day since then so we’re in the thousands now, let’s make it to a million.”
Congratulations to Tyler and Jenna on news of their second child! We wish them all the best as they prepare to grow their family.
