The Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diapers are trendy and convenient– swim diapers that are reusable and perfect for vacation and summer fun. At just under $12, we had to put it to the test to see how it stood out against the rest. Could this small investment make a big difference when it came to pool time with baby?
My 18 month old daughter has been wearing the Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diaper throughout this summer season while we are swimming at the pool. We quickly preferred it to other reusable swim diapers out there because they are more lightweight, less bulky and do not get heavy or sag with water when our daughter comes out of the pool.
The sizing goes by a combination of age range and weight range, which we’ve found to be very accurate. I chose my daughter’s swim diaper size according to the weight range and it fit her perfectly while still offering some room for her to grow into them. The drawstring waistband makes them easy to adjust and easy to pull on and off.
I previously purchased a reusable swim diaper that supposedly could adjust to fit children ages 4 months old through 4 years old using a number of snap buttons. However, it was very cumbersome to adjust the sizing by snapping all the numerous buttons in place, especially when you have an impatient, squirmy toddler! The Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diaper is much more user friendly!
The Bambino Mio Reusable Diaper is also very eco-friendly and is made with a concealed water resistant layer and leak proof elastic legs offering containment of solid waste so that it can be worn alone with no additional diaper needing to be worn underneath. My daughter has soiled the Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diaper a couple of times and the diaper contained the waste– nothing spilled out of the diaper into the pool and water. The reusable swim diaper is also easy to clean – I just remove any loose waste that can be taken off easily and flushed into the toilet and then toss the diaper into the washer and dryer and the diaper has kept its shape and color through multiple washes.
The Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diaper comes in a variety of cute prints for both boys and girls. Priced at about $12, I find it more economically (and environmentally) advantageous to purchase this reusable diaper (or a couple of them even since they are so cute!) which can be used the whole summer rather than buying multiple packets of disposable swim diapers that you have to throw away after each use! The Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Diaper is an eco-friendly and fashionably cute must-have item for baby and toddler fun in the summertime sun!
