Actress Raven-Symoné, who rose to stardom as a child appearing in television series such as The Cosby Show and That’s So Raven, recently opened up about starting a family! The actress tied the knot with her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday last June in an intimate ceremony. Raven-Symoné discussed with Entertainment Tonight how she and her wife plan to grow their family.

“I want a big family,” Raven-Symoné shared during her interview with ET’s Deidre Behar. “I want four kids. I want to be able to make sure that the gatherings at the dinner table and the gatherings at [the] holidays are full of excitement and fun. I really don’t like the attention on me, even though I’m in the industry, you might think it’s true. But if we just have one child, I feel like it’s not enough distraction. I want a whole bunch of people in the house.”

The Raven’s Home star went on to share how she envisions her and Miranda welcoming children into the world. Miranda explained that both she and Raven-Symoné would like to carry a child through pregnancy. But the couple is also open to adopting. “They don’t all have to come from our bodies, though, and I don’t think they should,” Raven-Symoné shared.

Raven-Symoné has been very private regarding her dating life. She and Miranda tied the knot in secret back in June of 2020. Since getting married, however, the couple started a YouTube channel where they open up about married life. Their channel is called “8 PM,” which has significant meaning for the couple. “I believe in numerology, and when we got married, it took us a while to find the perfect date that added up to a number we believe brings us a beautiful springboard for our career and our marriage and success and luck. And we ended up on eight,” Raven-Symoné explained. “And PM is Pearman-Maday, and we hyphenated our last names because we are strong ladies.”

This is certainly an exciting time for Raven-Symoné and Miranda! We wish them all the best as they embark on this journey to become parents and start a family together.
