Athlete Crystal Dunn, U.S. Women’s National Team soccer champion, shared exciting news today. She and her husband Pierre Soubrier have welcomed their first child together! Their little one was born early this morning at 2:48 AM.
It’s a boy! The couple chose to name their son Marcel Jean Soubrier. “I can’t believe i’m somebody’s Mama!” Crystal wrote in her caption. Pierre gushed about his wife and being a new father in his announcement post sharing, “Soon he will say PAPA… Incredible. So proud of @cdunn19 for getting through it all. Another way to call you a Champ!”
Crystal and Pierre announced in November that they were expecting their first child. “The biggest blessing of them all,” Crystal, who currently plays for the Portland Thorns FC of the National Women’s Soccer League, wrote at the time. “We are so excited and happy to be adding a member to our family in 2022!”
The couple was married in 2018 and celebrated 4 years of marriage this past December. Both Crystal and Pierre took to Instagram on their anniversary to gush over their partner. Of her husband, Crystal shared, “Thank you for always treating me like a Queen👑. 4 years married to you, has made me the most complete version of myself! I love you sooo much.” Pierre shared a touching sentiment writing, “Couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. My best friend forever, I love you.”
