Former Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes is going to become a mom! Jasmine announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Juan David Borrero, an executive at Snapchat. Jasmine shared that she is six months along in her pregnancy.

Jasmine announced her news with a Vogue interview where she also opened up about her experience in the first stages of her pregnancy. The model opted to wait to announce the news because of the side effects she was having. “I couldn’t find the right way that I wanted to do it—a way that felt true to me. I was so tired to the point I couldn’t even read emails coming through—I’d fall asleep sitting at my computer. I almost fell asleep driving my car. The tiredness was something I had never experienced.” Jasmine revealed in her interview that she is taking her pregnancy one day at a time. “Every day is scary—you never know what’s going to happen. So I just pray, hope for the best, and try to keep an open mind.”

When announcing her pregnancy on Instagram, the model wrote, “Feeling so grateful to start a family with you @juandavidborrero.” In the comments, Juan, who is the son of Ecuadorian vice president Alfredo Borrero, echoed Jasmine’s sentiment writing, “Couldn’t be happier to grow our family with you!” The couple began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2020. The couple tied the knot in September 2021 in Ecuador.

The model wore a stunning gown for her big day that was designed by Zuhair Murad and, at the time, she gushed about her dress. “I sent him my inspiration, and he drew up the most beautiful and timeless dress that I have ever seen.” She later thanked the designer on Instagram writing, “Thank you for making my classic, timeless & beautiful wedding dress come true. It is a piece of art!! I want to display it like this forever in my house!”

Congratulations to Jasmine and Juan on the news of their first child! We wish them lots of love as they prepare to become parents.
