Comedian Whitney Cummings is going to be a mom! The 40-year-old shared a series of pictures of herself playing with her dog in the pool, Whitney’s stomach exposed, to her Instagram to reveal the news. “In these pix I am with child. And there’s a baby in me too.”

The At Midnight star revealed when her first baby is due to arrive. “Human pup coming December.” Then, she gave a bit of a teaser into her upcoming comedy tour, with dates through the end of October. “All your dates in 2023 still happening I just may fall over a couple times.” In addition to sharing images of her and her pup, Whitney included a sonogram image of her little one.

Whitney’s baby news comes a few months after she revealed she wanted to get pregnant this year. The 2 Broke Girls creator froze her eggs at 32-years-old and spoke with Jenna Bush Hager and Willie Geist on the third hour of Today about becoming a mom. ” I have all the time in the world to have biological children, so there’s no rush,” Whitney shared after Jenna asked if she was thinking about motherhood. “But I did freeze my eggs. They have a beautiful beachfront in Redondo, California,” she joked. “They’re on better real estate than me. I do want to get them out before the sea level rises and they flood, but I was going to try this year to get pregnant.”

In 2016, the “Good For You” podcaster shared with Vanity Fair why she chose to freeze her eggs in her early 30s. She was feeling pressured to start a family and wasn’t comfortable with how it affected her dating life. “I feel like I was dating people just because I was on a deadline.” Whitney was given a dose of parental responsibity this year when John Legend and Chrissy Teigen made the comedian the godmother of their newborn Esti Maxine, who was born on January 13th.

Congratulations to Whitney on the news of her pregnancy! We wish her all the best as she prepares for motherhood.
