With fall in full swing and a ton of excuses to dress the little ones up as the year winds down, it’s time to stock up on autumn fashion for your baby girl! From lounging, to a day out, to your family gathering, we’ve got you covered with these fresh picks as our favorite outfits for fall… for budgets large and small!

Save: Koala Baby

Our daughter received the Koala Beige Long Sleeve Floral Fawn Ruffle Skirted Top size 9/12 months and Faux Denim Capri Leggings size 9/12 months. While only 7 months old, our daughter is a bit taller and larger than most babies her age and we usually buy her clothes one size up. Both the top and pants fit our daughter comfortably and with room for her to grow into the outfits for a few months.

This is a cute, modern outfit perfect for the changing seasons as we move from summer to fall and the weather starts cooling off. The long sleeve top is made of a cotton/polyester blend having the look and feel of a soft, comfortable lightweight sweater. It has snaps on the back, is an oatmeal hue with an attractive ruffled lace hem and has a delightful graphic of a deer crowned with a floral head dress of white, pink and purple. This top is appealingly modern in its design as opposed to many of the “cutsey” baby tops you find in bright colors adorned with bold glittered sayings or images. The faux denim jeggings are a nice dark blue wash which gives the pants a nice “denim” look while the cotton/polyester/spandex blend and elastic waist provide the stretch and comfort of a legging. Both top and pants are machine washable. This is a cute, comfortable, casual outfit which I am sure will be a staple in our daughter’s wardrobe this fall and winter!

Sold at Babies R Us, Koala Baby and Koala Kids aims to offer fashionable children’s clothing, shoes, accessories and nursery decor at an affordable price and for most parents finding a bargain is important, especially when it comes to clothing which children so quickly outgrow. The top was originally priced at $19.99 (but now marked down to $9.98!) which I feel is a bit high but still fair for the quality of the clothing and its modern design. The jeggings originally priced at $8.99, are now marked down to $6.00. I was unaware of the Koala Baby and Koala Kids line before but am glad my daughter received this outfit. The quality, design and price-point makes this a clothing line I will purchase more items from in the future for sure!

Splurge: Feltman Brothers

Feltman Brothers clothing is distinctive in its vintage, classic style, which has recently had a surging revival in popularity thanks very much in part (if not exclusively) due to two very famous, adorably wardrobed little royal children named Prince George and Princess Charlotte. See your darling daughter dressed in a Feltman Brothers lace embroidered bubble with matching bonnet or see your sweet son dapperly dressed in a two piece navy smocked bobby suit and you will certainly feel like your little ones have been transported back to the English countryside sometime during the early 1900’s!

My 7 month old daughter received the charming Feltman Brothers Bouquet Collection A-Line Pleated Dress with Flysleeve and Matching Panty as well as the Pima Cotton Embroidered Bow Romper. The pleated soft pink A line dress made of a cotton/polyester blend has the feel of crisp cotton and is simply lovely with its white peter pan collar with hand embroidered flower bouquets and white contrast hem with matching embroidery. The pintucks on the bodice and the fly sleeves also add a bit of whimsy to this dress. This is the perfect dress for an Easter Sunday celebration, a birthday party, or any regular day of the week when you just feel like you want to dress your little one in an adorable outfit.

The Pima Cotton Embroidered Bow Romper has a soft, luxurious feel and is charming with its baby pink hue and subtle accents including delicate scalloped stitching around the collar, down the front and at the bottom of the sleeves, and one single, dainty, hand embroidered bow with three small flowers just above your little one’s heart. This item makes a wonderfully comfortable footed romper to dress our daughter in for sleep and play.

The size chart on the Feltman Brothers website appears to be accurate. Our daughter is 7 months and a bit taller and larger than most babies her age so we typically dress her in clothes one size up. The Feltman Brothers dress was size 9 Months and the romper size 6-9 months and both fit my daughter comfortably and with room for her grow allowing her to keep wearing both wonderful outfits for a few months longer.

The history of Feltman Brothers is just as endearing as their clothes. The company was started in 1916 and has remained committed to producing high quality, exquisitely styled, hand embroidered clothing for baby boys and girls for a century now! All of the Feltman Brothers outfits are made today with the exact same workmanship as in 1916. Every item from their collection includes hand embroidered detailing, smocking, fluting and intricate open work designs. The top notch quality of Feltman Brothers clothing can be seen in the perfectly hand sewn rosebuds, embroidered appliques, pintucks, and French lace adorning their beautifully designed clothing. Feltman Brothers offers a variety of clothing and accessories ranging from rompers your baby can wear everyday to special occasion wear including christening gowns and holiday outfits.

As much as a “splurge” as the clothes may be, I am still over the moon delighted to have discovered Feltman Brothers. I feel that these clothes are of such a vintage, classic and timeless style that is hard to find these days, and I can easily see such high quality clothing being passed down from one generation to another, and because of those reasons I feel the investment quite worthwhile.
