Beka Martinez, who competed on The Bachelor took to Instagram to reveal some exciting news. She is expecting her second child with boyfriend Grayston Leonard.

It was only nine months ago that the couple gave birth to their first child together. They welcomed a daughter named Ruth Ray De La Luz on February 2nd of this year. When Bekah announced her daughter’s name, she shared the reasoning behind each name she chose and it’s so beautiful. “Ruth= Grayston’s grandmother’s name, and one of my favorite biblical stories. Hebrew for friend or companion. Ray= …Because Ruthie Ray is too damn cute. De La Luz= My dad’s middle name. Spanish for ‘of the light’. A tribute to my Mexican heritage.” We’re excited to learn what Bekah chooses to name her new little bundle of joy.

Bekah has been very open on her Instagram about her journey of motherhood with Ruthie Ray. She’s shared countless beautiful shots of her breastfeeding her daughter, pumping, and embracing her new body. In honor of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August, Bekah shared a thoughtful message and some of her favorite breastfeeding tools and resources.

It’s Breastfeeding Awareness Month! Breastfeeding is one of the BEST gifts you can give to your baby. Breastfed babies grow up to have a lower risk of asthma, diabetes, and obesity. Breastmilk contains antibodies that protect against disease and illness, not to mention it’s FREE! 🙂 . That being said, setting yourself up for breastfeeding success is crucial!
