Actor KJ Apa, most notably known for portraying the role of Archie Andrews on the television series Riverdale, has welcomed his first child! The actor’s girlfriend, model Clara Berry, announced the news on her Instagram page with an image of herself holding the hand of her newborn.
KJ and Clara have welcomed a baby boy! “He is a perfect perfection,” Clara wrote in her post. “I am the luckiest to have now two men of my life, filling my heart with this cosmic gigantic vast love.” She also revealed the name they chose for their son: Sasha Vai Keneti Apa.
Sasha shares one of his middle names with his father. KJ stands for Keneti James. The model also revealed that Sasha was born on September 23rd. The Riverdale star did not share a post to his Instagram page announcing the birth of his son. He did, however, reshare Clara’s announcement post to his Instagram Stories.
KJ confirmed his relationship with Clara in February of 2020 on his Instagram page, though the post has since been deleted. He does frequently post images and captions with Clara that are romantic in nature.
Clara revealed in May that she was pregnant with her first child. She continued to post many images to her Instagram page that featured her growing baby bump. On the same day that Clara shared she was pregnant, KJ posted an image of the couple on the couch with Clara’s baby bump in full view. He did not caption his post at the time.
