Talk show host Andy Cohen made an exciting announcement today. He grew his family! The Watch What Happens Live host announced the arrival of his second child. He had not previously shared that he was expecting another child.
Andy shared an image of himself with her newborn to reveal the news. It’s a girl! “HERE’S LUCY!!!!!” Andy excitedly began his post, revealing he named his daughter Lucy Eve Cohen. The Bravo personality shared details about his newborn as well. “She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!”
Andy shared a touching sentiment regarding his surrogate. “Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.” Andy welcomed his first child via surrogate in early 2019, a son named Benjamin Allen. Of his children first meeting, the talk show host wrote, “Her big brother can’t wait to meet her!”
When Andy welcomed Benjamin into the world, he opened up with People about his desire to start a family, even if it meant doing it as a single dad. “It’s not something in your mind — ‘Oh, I want to do this alone.’ But I like being alone. I didn’t want to wait. To me, it would have to be a very special person to say, ‘Let’s do this together.’ And I would love that, and that person could be having coffee down the street at this moment and I’ll meet him soon.”
