Last month, actors Keshia Knight Pulliam and Brad James welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. The little one was The Cosby Show alums second child. When announcing their son’s birth, the couple hadn’t shared the name but have now revealed the moniker they chose for their newest family member.
In honor of Mother’s Day, Keshia shared pictures of her two children, lamenting on being a mother to them. In her caption, she revealed – for the first time – her son’s name: Knight James. The name Knight comes from the first part of Keshia’s last name. The moniker is an English name that means “warrior.”
In her post sharing her son’s name, the mom of 2 gushed about her children. “This Mother’s Day is extra special for me… thank you both for choosing me to be your mommy. Ella you are the best big sister!! I love watching how you care for, protect, teach and love on your little brother. Knight already looks up to you and watches your every move. Welcome to the world Knight James!! You two are my life’s greatest accomplishments.” Keshia shares her daughter Ella Grace with her ex Edgerton Hartwell.
Keshia and Brad, who recently starred in the Lifetime Christmas movie New Orleans Noel, first began dating in 2019. The two actors met on the set of Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta. The couple tied the knot in Septebmer 2021 in an intimate ceremony. They originally wanted a large destination wedding, but it wasn’t in the cards. At the time, the actress shared, “Instead, it was intimate, whimsical, full of love, laughter and joy… Absolutely perfect!!”
