Last week, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed that he and his wife Brittany were expecting their third baby together. Now, the couple has revealed the sex of their little one. “Baby Mahomes #3 is a….💙🩷”

The couple shared a joint video on Instagram from their gender reveal party to announce the news. In the video, the couple’s first baby, daughter Sterling Skye, played a game of tic-tac-toe to uncover the news. The white tic-tac-toe board stood in the center of a balloon archway, with one side all pink balloons and the other balloons blue. She flipped the tiles and ultimately revealed three pink X’s in a row. It’s a girl!

In addition to their daughter Sterling, the couple has a son named Patrick Lavon Mahomes III. The little one, who was born in November 2022, goes by the nickname Bronze. When the couple announced their pregnancy last week, they shared simply in the caption of their post, “Round three, here we come.” They have not yet shared when their new arrival is due.

The NFL player first met his wife while the two attended high school at Whitehouse High School in Texas. Following his Super Bowl ceremony in September 2020, Patrick asked Brittany to marry him. Sterling was born the following February and one year later, the couple tied the knot. In March 2022, they were wed in a private ceremony in Hawaii.
