Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (nee Baldwin) are parents! The singer took to Instagram to announce the birth of the couple’s first baby together. “WELCOME HOME.”
The couple announced they were growing their family in May and revealed that Hailey was six months along in her pregnancy at the time. To share their baby’s arrival, Justin posted a close-up picture of Hailey holding her newborn’s foot. While they didn’t share when their baby was born, they revealed they welcomed a son and chose to name him Jack Blues Bieber. The moniker follows a naming tradition for Justin’s family that’s been in practice for generations: a J moniker for the initials “JB.” In addition to Justin, his father, Jeremy Bieber, and two half-siblings Jazmyn Bieber, 16, and Jaxon Bieber, 14, have JB initials. The name Jack also has another familial significance as it’s Justin’s father’s middle name.
Following the couple’s news, Justin’s mom and Hailey’s dad gushed over baby Jack on X, formerly Twitter. Pattie Mallette, Justin’s mom, tweeted, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!” Actor Stephen Baldwin, Hailey’s dad, reshared Patti’s post and added, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
The “Moments” singer and Rhode Skin reportedly began dating in 2015 but they didn’t confirm their relationship until March 2016. The couple got engaged in July 2018 and tied the knot two months later in September at a courthouse in New York City. A year later in September 2019, they hosted a large ceremony surrounded by family and friends in Bluffton, South Carolina. The couple also recently renewed their vows, which was revealed at the same time they announced their pregnancy.
Congratulations to Justin and Hailey on the birth of baby Jack! We wish them lots of love in their parenting journey.
