Rapper Cardi B is a mother of three! The “On Dat Money” singer announced the birth of her third baby Instagram with images of her and her family at the hospital following the baby’s arrival.
The rappers welcomed a baby girl on September 7th but did not reveal the name they’ve chosen for her. Cardi B captioned her post, “The prettiest lil thing 9/7/24 .” The “WAP” singer shared a series of images with her whole family at the hospital, including her estranged husband Offset. The couple’s first two children: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 3, attended the hospital to meet their new sibling. Wave celebrated his 3rd birthday on September 4th, just a few days before his baby sister’s arrival.
Cardi B announced at the beginning of August that she was pregnant with baby number 3. The news came a few weeks after the “Wanna Be” rapper filed for divorce from Offset in July. She referenced the divorce filing in her pregnancy announcement writing at the time, “With every ending comes a new beginning! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through.”
The rappers have had an on-again, off-again relationship for years, even after tying the knot in September 2017. They announced one year later that they were getting divorced and then in 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce before later calling it off. In addition to his three children with Cardi B, Offset had three other children from previous relationships: a daughter named Kalea and two sons named Kody and Jordan.
Congratulations to Cardi B and Offset on the birth of their third baby! We look forward to learning the name they’ve chosen for their daughter.
