Actress Mandy Moore is a mother of three! The This Is Us star took to Instagram today to announce the birth of her third baby with her husband Taylor Goldsmith. “Endlessly grateful for our family of 5.”
The actress and musician announced in May that they were growing their family and revealed at the time that they were expecting a girl. The couple’s daughter arrived “right in time for Virgo season” and they chose to name her Louise Everett Goldsmith. The Dr. Death star also referred to her daughter with the nickname Lou. Of her daughter’s birth, Mandy wrote that Louise “arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously” and added, “She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are.”
Louise joins the family with two older brothers. Mandy and Taylor share sons August “Gus” Harrison, born in February 2021, and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett, born in October 2022. The actress’s family is reminiscent of her TV family from the NBC series This Is Us, where Mandy portrayed the role of Rebecca Pearson, the mother of two sons and one daughter. In the series, the children are referred to as “the big three,” a phrase Mandy has adopted since revealing her pregnancy. She lovingly used the term again in her announcement post. “Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time.”
The A Walk to Remember star started dating the Dawes band member, whom she connected with on Instagram, since 2015. The couple got engaged in September 2017 and tied the knot one year later in November 2018. They enjoyed a private ceremony at their Pasadena home, tying the knot in a boho-themed backyard wedding. For the musician’s birthday last month, the Tangled star wrote a touching post on Instagram. “To know you is to love you, @taylordawesgoldsmith. Truly. You’re everyone’s fav person (especially Gus and Ozzie and NO doubt our daughter’s too)…. I can’t believe we get to do this life together! 9 birthdays down and a lifetime to go! Happy Birthday to the best there is.”
