Influencer and podcast Hailie Jade, the daughter of rapper Eminem, is going to be a mom! Eminem shared the news ahead of Hailie’s announcement, posting a touching video to reveal he was going to be a grandfather. This little one will be Hailie’s first baby with her husband Evan McClintock.
Today, Eminem released a music video for his new son “Temporary,” which features Skylar Grey. The video shows images and clips of the rapper with his daughter throughout the years. Video clips from Hailie’s wedding in May 2024 were interspersed throughout the throwback images. Toward the end of the video, new clips were introduced that showed Hailie presenting her dad with a jersey. Wrapped in the jersey, which said “Grandpa” and “1” on the back, were sonogram images. The “Slim Shady” rapper teared up at the news.
Hailie went on to share a pregnancy announcement on her Instagram page, sharing two images of her and Evan in the kitchen while holding sonogram images. In her caption, the Just a Little Shady podcast host hinted at her due date writing, “mom & dad est. 2025.” The influencer met her husband in 2016 while attending Michigan State University. The couple got engaged on February 4, 2023. Evan revealed on an episode of Hailie’s podcast that he asked her father for his blessing two months before proposing December 2022. He recalled to Hailie, “I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time.’ So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake and made it happen.”
The couple tied the knot in May 2024. When announcing her nuptials, the podcaster wrote on Instagram, “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
