Ghost Brothers star Dalen Spratt has welcomed his first child with his wife Stacey Nicole Lee! Stacey gave birth to the couple’s child on September 14th and now, they’re sharing all the details about their newborn.
The producer and his wife are the proud parents of a baby girl! Their daughter was born on September 14th in Atlanta. She weighed 8 lbs, 7 oz, and measured 21¼ inches long at birth. The couple chose to name their little one Axel Lee Spratt!
In the photos the couple shared exclusively with People, the family were donned in gear from Clark Atlanta University, which holds a special meaning. Dalen shared, “And of course we had to rep the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University. Her grandparents met there and so did her mother and I… at this point it’s almost a tradition lol.” He went on to share a touching message with his daughter. “I can’t wait to witness all that life has to offer you mama. I love you throughout this life AND the next!”
The couple shared with People that they were inspired by the Showtime drama Billions when choosing Axel’s name. “We fell in love with the main character Bobby Axelrod. We knew that whenever we had a child, we wanted them to be as intelligent, and strong, and bold as that character played by Damian Lewis. We ended up taking out the Axel part and loving its meaning (My Father is Peace)…. Mix that with Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop), and we knew she would be destined for greatness… or at least a career in tv and film.”
