Actor Luke Bilyk, most notably known for portraying the role of Drew Torres in the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation, announced surprising news. He is a father! Luke and his partner Nicole Dorsey secretly welcomed their first child together last week.
Luke and Nicole, a writer and director, had not previously revealed they were expecting before announcing the arrival of their first child. The couple welcomed a son named Elliot Rae Bilyk. Elliot shares the middle name of Rae with his mom. Luke announced the news by sharing an Instagram Reel video that featured clips of he and Nicole together over the years and ended with the reveal of his son. “Mom and dad spent seven years together, it took nine months to meet you. But we have rest of our lives together. Papa loves you little Elliot.”
Following his initial announcement, the F the Prom star shared a series of images documenting Nicole’s pregnancy followed by photos of their newborn in the hospital. The new dad penned a caption for his son writing, “For nine months we waited to meet you my son, and now I can’t take a moment without looking at you little Elliot Rae Bilyk. Me and mom will put up with all the sleep deprivation that comes along with raising you!”
On her page, Nicole shared a single image of Elliot and reflected on welcoming her son writing, “This year has been one that I could have never anticipated. A week ago I gave birth to Elliot Rae Bilyk after locking picture on my series. My stars, this life is wild and I’m so in love with this lil dude.” Luke and Nicole began dating in 2015 and announced their engagement in December of 2021.
