Actor Peter Facinelli, most notably known for portraying the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga movies, has announced the arrival of his fourth child. Peter’s partner, actress Lily Anne Harrison, gave birth to the couple’s first child together on September 5th, which happened to be Labor Day this year, which makes for a punny story.
Peter shared a black and white photo to announce the news that showed him holding his newborn’s hand as the baby lay on Lily. Besides his child’s birth date, he did not reveal any details about his little one including their name or sex. The Ruthless Realtor star did not share an announcement of her first child’s birth on her Instagram feed, but she reshared Peter’s post to her stories and tags from friends congratulating the couple on the arrival of their little one.
Lily shared the news in June that she and Peter were expecting. The couple began dating in September 2016. Peter proposed to Lily on New Year’s Eve in 2019 while on vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the couple has put off their nuptials. Regarding their choice and what that means for their relationship, Peter has shared, “I want [our wedding] to be in a world where there’s no masks. There’s no rush for us. We’re devoted to each other and we’re living a life together. I already feel married. We have everything besides the piece of paper and the party!”
The God Save the Queens star is no stranger to fatherhood. He shares three daughters with his ex-wife, actress Jennie Garth: Luca Bella, 25, Lola Ray, 19, and Fiona Eve, 15.
Congratulations to Peter and Lily on the arrival of their first child together! We look forward to learning the name they’ve chosen for their little one, should they choose to share, and wish them all the best as they embark on this journey as parents together.
