Earlier this month, actor Shemar Moore announced that he was expecting his first child with his partner Jesiree Dizon. The S.W.A.T. star, 52, has officially welcomed his little one into the world! “Ya boy is officially a Dad!!! Dreams come true!! The rest of my life is here!”

A rep for the couple shared with PEOPLE, “Shemar Moore and his partner, Jesiree Dizon, are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl. The family is very happy and healthy.” When Shemar announced he was expecting, he had also revealed he would be welcoming a daughter. Her due date was on February 8th, which had significance for the actor as it was the 3-year anniversary of the passing of his mother. It looks like the little one decided to arrive a bit earlier than expected.

The Criminal Minds alum had previously shared that he and Jesiree would be naming their daughter Frankie and revealed that this was the name they chose after her birth. While this little one is the actor’s first child, this is baby number three for the model. Jesiree has two children from previous relationships, a daughter named Charli and a son name Kaiden.

The news of Shemar becoming a father was first revealed when a clip for his then-upcoming appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show was released. He shared in the clip, “I’m Shemar Moore, 52½ years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it’ll be the three-year anniversary on February 8. And on February 8, I’m going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy.” The Young and the Restless alum also expressed his gratitude for this new chapter sharing, “It’s going to be the best part of — my life is already pretty grand, but I know whenever God does call my name, once I get this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.”

Congratulations to Shemar and Jesiree on the arrival of their daughter! We wish them lots of love as they welcome her into their family.
