Surprise! Actress Jamie Chung has welcomed twins! Jamie’s husband, fellow actor Bryan Greenberg, shared the news on his Instagram with a video that showed the new dad holding two little babies close to his chest. The One Tree Hill alum captioned the video, “We got double the trouble now.”
The Big Hero 6 star didn’t share her own announcement post to her Instagram feed but she did reshare Bryan’s video to her Instagram Stories. This news comes as a shock as the couple had not previously revealed that they were expecting. They haven’t shared any other details about their twins including their names, gender, or birth date.
Jamie has been open about her fertility journey, sharing with her followers in 2019 that she was going through the process of freezing her eggs. “I’ve been stewing over the idea of freezing my eggs for a couple of years now,” the actress shared in a post discussing her decision, “and decided to move forward with the process only just recently. I did my research on facilities and then it all boiled down to these deciding factors; I want options. I’m buying time. I’m unsure and scared and hopeful.”
The Gotham star went on to share her thoughts at the time on parenthood. “I have the best life partner a person can ask for and I know I want to one day raise a child with Bryan. I’m just unsure when that will happen. And I realized that’s ok. It’s ok to be unsure when the time is right. And a lot of people have told me that ‘There is no right time. Just do it! What are you waiting for?! It’s the best thing to have ever happened to us!!’ And I believe it all but I’m going at the pace that’s right for me because I’m not ready just yet.”
Jamie and Bryan started dating in 2012 and became engaged a year later in December of 2013. The couple tied the knot in 2015 on Halloween in Santa Barbara, California. They hosted a three-day celebration with a welcome dinner – that required costumes! – the night before the nondenominational ceremony.
