Congratulations are in order for 36-year-old Kate Mara and her husband Jamie Bell! The couple, who began dating in 2015 after working on Fantastic Four and subsequently tied the knot in July of 2017, welcomed a baby girl just a few weeks ago. Kate announced the birth of her first child by sharing the sweetest picture (and charming caption) of her little girl’s feet on Instagram. Aren’t baby toes just the cutest!?

There’s no word yet as to what the couple has decided to call their daughter, but the name may not be as outlandish as is the trend for other celebrities. This sweet little girl is lucky enough to have a big brother named Jack. Jack is Jamie’s son from his previous marriage to actress Evan Rachel Wood. Perhaps Jamie and Kate have opted for a classic name for their daughter as well!
It’s possible the couple may have hinted at a floral name for their daughter, given the lavish display of floral decor at their baby shower held earlier this month. The couple hosted an intimate shower at their home where guests were welcomed by an arch of wildflowers and roses at the gate as well as beautiful pink flower arrangements. Kate, who was obviously excited about being a girl mom, was decked out in all pink everything! She must be having a blast dressing up her bundle of joy.
Mara, who skipped this years’ Met Gala, had last been seen with her husband in Los Angeles back on May 7th. The couple was spotted cozying up as they strolled through town. They certainly have their hands full now, though. Bell shared with Extra on Wednesday, May 29th that “It’s kind of jumping back into the trenches a little bit. We’re very happy everyone is doing well. It’s great.”
