Good Girls star Lauren Lapkus has announced the arrival of her first child with her husband Mike Castle! The actress revealed in May of 2021 that she and Mike would be welcoming their first child and rainbow baby this summer.

Lauren’s announcement was simple: she posted a video of her newborn and caption the photo with her name bookended by two cloud emojis. Lauren and the Brews Brothers star are the proud parents of a baby girl named Holly! In the video, Holly was wearing a floral onesie and sucked on a pacifier while lying on a pillow. Mike shared the same video to his Instagram page with the caption, “Welcome to this strange world, Holly.”

The Orange is the New Black star revealed her child’s gender when she announced she was pregnant. “We are expecting a baby girl this summer. I am over the moon. So grateful and happy.” When sharing their pregnancy announcement, the couple each added the hashtag rainbow baby on their posts. They have not yet opened up about a pregnancy loss. The term is used to describe a child born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss.

Lauren and Mike tied the knot on October 5, 2018, in a simple courthouse ceremony. At the time, Lauren shared that her wedding day “was exactly what we wanted it to be: stress-free, romantic, and fun.”

Congratulations to Lauren and Mike on the arrival of their baby girl! We wish them all the best in their new role as parents.
